Si Angelica ang kinatawan ng lalawigan ng PALAWAN, ang kapuluang tinaguriang “The Last Ecological Frontier” ng Pilipinas.

Sa Facebook post ng Binibining Pilipinas, inilarawan na hango ang inspirasyon ng costume sa gandang taglay ng Tubbataha Reef, isang UNESCO World Heritage Site sa lalawigan ng Palawan.

“The main inspiration of Binibining Palawan’s national costume is the majestic atoll reef of a UNESCO World Heritage Site, The Tubbataha Reefs. The cave represents the complete attraction from mountain to sea ecosystem, the World Reckoned Seven Wonders of Nature, Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park. Her bodysuit and accessories are made out of precious pearls and crystals to represent the wealthy resources that lie beneath the grounds of Palawan. The complete ensemble that is innate and symbolic to its land and its people is thus now called “PERLAS NG PALAWAN”, ani ng Binibining Pilipinas sa kanilang Facebook post.
