PALAWAN, Philippines — PINAKAMATAAS ang nakolektang national taxes ng Puerto Princesa City sa buong lalawigan ng Palawan, ayon sa ibinahaging impormasyon ng City Information Office (CIO).
Ito ay naging posible dahil sa pagbabayad ng maaga ng tamang buwis. Ang mga buwis na ito ay mula sa buwis na ibinabawas sa mga suweldo ng regular, contractual, at job order na kawani ng pamahalaang panlungsod.
Kaugnay nito, ginawaran ng Bureau of Internal Revenue o BIR District Office No. 36 ng “plaque of recognition” ang City Government na tinanggap nina City Treasurer Jerome M. Padrones at City Accountant Charlito Paul noong ika-15 ng Marso.
“This Plaque of Recognition is awarded to City Government of Puerto Princesa in grateful recognition of the continuing partnership manifested in prompt and efficient payment of correct taxes, thereby contributing immensely towards achieving the district’s collection goal for the calendar year 2023,” ang nakasaad sa plake.
