PUERTO PRINCESA CITY — Masayang inanunsyo ni Punong Lungsod Lucilo Bayron noong Light a tree ceremony, Disyembre 1, sa Balayong People’s Park na kabilang siya sa Top Performing Mayors sa Pilipinas.
Aniya, nu’ng umagang iyon nakatanggap siya ng pagbati mula sa mga kasamahang alkalde na siya ay pasok sa top seven (7) best performing mayor sa Pilipinas.
Si Bayron ay nakakuha ng 85.45% job performance ratings batay sa survey na isinagawa ng RP-Mission and Development Foundation Inc. (RPMD).
Ito ay isinagawa noong Setyembre 20 hanggang katapusan ng nabanggit na buwan.
“Along with Mayor (Ronnie) Lagnada of Butuan City and Mayor Baste Duterte of Davao City this recognition is the result of a nationwide survey conducted by the RP-Mission and Development Foundation Inc. (RPMD), a non-government office with 10,000 respondents from Sept 20 to 30, 2023,” ani Bayron.
Ang mga alkalde sa bansa ay dumaan sa evaluation na umikot sa pitong (7) benchmarks na kinabibilangan ng service delivery, financial acumen, economic progress, leadership and governance, environmental conservation, social initivatives at active constituent engagement.
Binigyang-diin ni Bayron na ang pagkilalang ito ay hindi niya maaabot kung wala ang suporta ng Sangguniang Panlungsod ng Puerto Princesa, mga kawani ng lokal na pamahalaan, mga opisyales ng barangay at ng buong mamamayan ng lungsod.
“Working with you has been an incredible adventure. Mga kapwa kawani ng pamahalaan– the city government is fortunate to have dedicated individuals like you.
I want to take this moment to acknowledge your hardwork and dedication and let you know that I am impressed by our collective performance. We can all be proud of our teamwork and team effort,” pahayag ni Bayron.
