Isang makabuluhang programa ng Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas ang naisakatuparan sa pagtutulungan ng BSP Puerto Princesa Branch, Department of Education (DepEd) – Puerto Princesa City, at Palaweño Bankers Association.

Ito ang programang “Barya Man sa Paningin, Malayo ang Mararating: A Savings Management, Coin Recirculation and Learning Program of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Puerto Princesa Branch”.

Ang signing ceremony ay pinangunahan nina BSP Puerto Princesa Branch Area Director Atty. Ronaldo O. Bermudez, BSP South Luzon Regional Office Director Atty. Tomas J. Cariño, Jr., DepEd- Puerto Princesa City Asst.

“During the event we were asked to pledge our support for the implementation and realization of DepEd various projects. We would also like to develop a program for DepEd that creates a lasting impact,” ani Tanagon.

“As we gather today we are reminded of the importance teaching our children not just to count coins but to count the possibilities they hold for the future. This program is a testament to the collaborative efforts of the BSP Puerto Princesa Branch, DepEd PPC and the Palaweño Bankers Association,” dagdag pa ni Tanagon.

“This program aims to instill financial discipline and awareness among elementary students,” ayon pa kay Tanagon.

“This project of BSP will raise awareness about saving money and the role of coins in our economy. Managing savings and participating in coin recirculation may seem a small efort but we are powerful tools to personal development and community wealthy. By starting this practices early you are not just securing a better future for yourself but also strengthening the foundation of our economy.

Saving money is a smart habit that builds your future . Every coin counts to save wisely and to keep coins recirculating by using them regularly. Together we can make every centavo matter,” paliwanag ni Cariño.

“I commit to really disseminate this program. I commit to monitor with the help of teacher/ adviser to really make this program a successful one and using the data that we have gathered then we will be able to think of other strategies how to make this project a successful one and the most important one how are we going to help our learners appreciate the value of money even the smallest value of a coin,” pangako ni Mascareñas.
