Layunin nito na i-promote sa mga establisyimento ang pagtanggap at benepisyo ng Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) National ID o mas kilala rin sa tawag na Phil-ID at e-Phil-ID.
Ilan lamang sa mga financial institutions na naikot ng PRO Palawan ay ang Veterans Bank, Agribusiness Rural Bank Inc., Development Bank of the Philippines, BanKO, Asia United Bank, Union Bank of the Philippines, RJ Lhuillier Inc. at Cebuana Lhuillier Pawnshop Inc., Emcor Incorporated, at Metro Motorbikes Corporation.
โThe PhilSys Team emphasized that the absence of a handwritten signature promotes greater security in transactions and a lower risk of forgery. They demonstrated how to verify the authenticity of a national ID through the PSA- issued QR Code in the PhilID/ePhilID by accessing the website verify.philsys.gov.ph.,โ ayon sa impormasyon mula sa PSA Palawan.
At bilang pagtalima na rin sa Republic Act No. 11055 o ang Philippine Identification System Act at Executive Order No. 162 (Adoption of the Use of the Philippine Identification System) magpapatuloy naman ang PRO Palawan sa pag-iikot sa mga establisyimento upang masiguro na may sapat na kaalaman maging ang publiko hinggil sa acceptance at verification ng nabanggit na ID.
