Pagkuha ng Nat’l ID, pinadali para sa mga katutubo

Inihatid ang 54 na National IDs (paper format), at nairehistro ang 14 na residente at katutubo ng Batangay Tanabag, Oktubre 27, sa Philippine Identification System (PhilSys).
Inihatid ito ng Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Palawan Provincial Statistical Office (PPSO) sa mga naturang residente, sa pamamagitan ng mobile registration system nito. Tulong ito para sa mas accessible na National ID, lalo na sa mga residente at katutubo na nahihirapan na makakuha ng National ID sa mga registration centers dahil sa pamasahe, layo, at problema sa oras.
Mahala ang pagkakaroon ng isang ID para maka-access ng mga serbisyo ng gobyerno.
“Having a valid proof of identity is essential for Indigenous Peoples and other members of the community, as it helps facilitate their access to government services, social protection programs, financial transactions, and other opportunities. The National ID also serves as an important tool in promoting their inclusion in government programs and services,” ayon kay Oscar H. Gatpandan, Officer-in-Charge, Palawan Provincial Statistical Office.
“By bringing registration services directly to barangays, PSA Palawan helps reduce the burden of travel expenses and long-distance transportation while allowing residents to access essential services within their own communities,” ayon din kay Gatpandan.
