GINANAP ngayong hapon, ika-20 ng Mayo 2023, ang 41st Annual General Assembly Meeting (AGAM) ng Palawan Electric Cooperative (PALECO) kaya binuo ang Technical Working Group o TWG para magbigay ng suhestyon sa mga maaaring pagbabago sa Articles of Cooperation and By-Laws (ACBL), isa sa agenda ng AGAM.
Ang TWG ay binubuo ng mga Member-Consumer-Owner (MCO) mula sa iba’t ibang sektor ng lipunan.
Sa bisa ng Board Resolution No. 99 series of 2023, binigyang otoridad ng Board of Directors (BODs) si PALECO General Manager Engr. Rez L. Contrivida para bumuo ng TWG.
Ayon sa PALECO, naihalal bilang Chairperson si Atty. Philip Ray L. Nangkil at Vice-Chairperson naman si Grace P. Estefano.
Si Atty. Nangkil ay mula sa Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA), Philippine Institute of Environmental Planners (PIEP) at Philippine Real Estate Service Practitioners (PhilRES) na representante ng iba’t ibang consultants sa Palawan, habang si Estefano naman ay mula sa sektor ng Edukasyon, representante ng mga Kababaihan, Kabataan at ng mga “Advocate ng Reforms” patungo sa ikakaayos ng samahan.
Kabilang din sa miyembro ng technical working group sina Raul A. Grande, isang negosyante at representante ng iba’t ibang mga asosasyon; Antonio N. Magbanua, Jr., isang retired police officer at representante ng Indigenous Peoples (IPs); Dr. Antonio P. Cabrestante, isang kawani ng gobyerno, Real Estate Practitioner, at representante ng mga empleyado sa gobyerno at ng mga nasa Construction at Development activities; Lolita V. Carbonell, isang retired employee at representante ng mga Senior Citizens at retired employees; Gudulla G. Sarsagat, isang media practitioner na naglalayong maisulong ang karapatan patungkol sa malayang pamamahayag; Atty. Regidor B. Tulali mula sa Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) at representante ng mga abogado, Muslim Communities; Fr. Eugene Elivera, representante ng Religious Sector, Grassroot Communities; Engr. Teofe C. Cadiz ng Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers Of The Philippines, Inc. (IIEE), representante ng mga nasa public practice na propesyong teknikal; at Dr. Erlinda A. Ganapin, miyembro ng Palawan State University (PSU) Cooperative at representante ng mga sektor na nasa Supervisory at Managerial Departments.
Ang miyembro ng TWG ay pormal na hinirang nitong ika-28 ng Abril sa bisa ng Board Resolution No. 131 series of 2023.
