Paigtingin ang pagrerehistro ng magniniyog sa Palawan

Dapat paigtingin ng Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA)- Palawan Field Office ang pagpatutupad ng National Coconut Farmers Registry System (NCFRS) at pag-update ng listahan nito sa Palawan.

“Providing regular registration and updating assistance at the municipal and barangay levels will ensure that more qualified coconut farm owners, tenant-workers and coconut farm laborers are properly enrolled in the NCFRS as legitimate and deserving beneficiaries from government programs, projects, and assistance,” ayon kay Board Member Ariston D. Arzaga.

Sa pamamagitan nito, lahat ng kwalipikadong coconut farm owners, tenant-workers, at coconut farm laborers ay magiging rehistrado at magkakaroon ng akses sa mga programa ng gobyerno sa ilalim ng Republic Act No. 11524 o ang Coconut Farmers and Industry Trust Fund, kahit pa ang mga nakatira sa nayon.

Nagbigay rin ng mga suwestiyon si Arzaga kung paano mas epektibong maipatutupad ng NCFRS.

“Strengthening the implementation of the NCFRS through intensified information campaigns, mobile registration activities, and closer coordination among the Philippine Coconut Authority, local government units, and the Offices of the Municipal Agriculturists will significantly improve the delivery of services to coconut farm owners, including tenant-workers and farm laborers that would contribute to the sustainable development of the coconut industry program,” ani ni Arzaga.

Ang NCFRS ay ang talaan ng PCA ng mga magniniyog, tenant-workers, farm laborers, processors, at iba pang stakeholders sa Palawan.

Sinang-ayunan ito ng mga board members ng Sangguniang Panlalawigan ng Palawan.
