Gob.
“Iyong problema sa El Nido, with LGU (Local Government Units) naman is really trying to be reactive; they are trying to really promote our Sewage Treatment Plan [STP]. Even at El Nido’s lowest tourism arrivals, I think they still get more walk-ins compared to any other municipality here,” pahayag ni Gob. Alvarez.
“Kasi even last year, ang daming walk-in pa rin like nagtatanong po ako sa close season: “May mga tao ba? Sabi: Ma’am, dami.” Dami nagwa-walk-in pero walang laman ang mga restaurants pero ang daming nagsi-stay and they still want to see El Nido despite that situation of [it]. I mean, we’re trying our best. It’s not going to be cheap. I think El Nido will really have come together as a whole together with the province,” ayon kay Gob. Alvarez.
“Peza’s already helping for their new water system. I think they’re funding around almost 500 or 700 Milyon [Philippine Peso] already just for new water system. Hindi pa na-implement,” ladlad ni Gob. Alvarez.
