PUERTO PRINCESA CITY — Sa tulong ng Culion Sanitarium and General Hospital (CSGH) at iba pang partnered-groups, nabigyan ng panibagong ngiti ang tatlong (3) cleft patients o mga indibidwal na mayroong cleft lip at cleft palate o bingot.
“Every smile has a story. Aside from surgery, the Culion Sanitarium and General Hospital are helping to rewrite these kid’s stories. CSGH believes that every child –no matter where they are born- deserves the chance to smile,” pahayag ng CSGH.
Sa Facebook post, ibinahagi ng ospital ang matagumpay na operasyon sa tatlong cleft patients sa pangunguna ni Linapacan Rural Health Unit (RHU) Dr. Charlie O Tejada at Mayor Emil T. Neri.
Isinagawa ang operasyon sa CSGH ni Dr. Kenny Tablizo, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon, Visiting Consultant ng ospital.
“Aside from giving them a chance to smile, we gave them a chance to change their life and fulfill their dreams. Xia, 6yo wants to be a teacher someday, while Elthon John, 6yo wants to be a soldier and Archie, 16yo wants to be a police officer someday,” paglalahad ng pagamutan.
Inihayag din ng CSGH na adbokasiya ng kanilang ospital ang tumulong sa mga pasyenteng matagal nang mayroong cleft lip at cleft palate.
