PUERTO PRINCESA CITY – Nasa hatcheries ng Bucana, Dagmay, at Duli, ang nasa 11,385 marine turtle eggs o itlog ng pawikan, makaraang ibahagi ng Duli Beach Resort ang natagpuang ika-114 turtle nest sa bahaging Norte ng bayan ng El Nido, Palawan.
“Today we found nest [number] 114 in the north of El Nido! The hatcheries in Bucana, Dagmay and Duli now hold a new record of 11,385 Marine Turtle Eggs,” pagbabahagi ng pamunuan ng beach resort.
Anila, malaki ang naidudulot ng pagpapatrolya sa mga dalampasigan kung saan maraming turtle nests ang nailalagay sa maayos na pangangalaga.
“Patrolling the beaches make a big difference in the amount of nests we are bringing to safety. The previous record of the 3 beaches was 68 in total and this year we might be doubling this! 💚,” dagdag ng pamunuan.
