‘China’s narratives are exhausting to couner’

Tahasang inihayag ni Rear Admiral Jay Tristan Tarriela, tagapagsalita ng Philippine Coast Guard, na ‘exhausting’ ang pagkontra sa pagpapakalat ng maling impormasyon ng bansang Tsina kaugnay sa usapin ng West Philippine Sea.
Sa kaniyang social media post, sinabi ng opisyal na ‘frustrating’ ang paglaban sa disinformation ng Chinese government.
“Countering Beijing’s disinformation is exhausting. It is frustrating. Some days it is disappointing. But I will answer every lie — because this fight was never about me,” ani Tarriela.
“If China wins the battle of narratives and teaches us to accept defeat, the loss will not be ours alone. It will belong to the Filipino children not yet born, who will grow up believing what is ours was never worth defending,” diin pa nito.
