Panukalang taasan ang suweldo ng mga guro, suportado ng Prov’l Board

Sinusuportahan ng Sangguniang Panlalawigan ng Palawan ang isang panukalang batas sa Senado na taasan ang suweldo ng mga guro sa elementarya at sekondarya ng halagang ₱10,000.

Ang Senate Bill No. 335 o ang “Dagdag na Suweldo Para sa mga Guro Act” ay makatutulong sa pinansiyal na pangangailangan ng mga guro, kung maisababatas.

Ayon kina Board Member Ariston Arzaga at Board Member Rafael Ortega Jr.: “Adequate and competitive compensation can help improve teacher morale, strength retention, attract qualified individuals to the teaching profession, and recognize the professional value of teachers whose work directly influences the future of generations of Filipinos”.

Ang pagtaas daw ng suweldo ng mga guro ay isang investment sa kalidad, stability, at sustainability ng edukasyon sa Pilipinas, dahil ang suporta sa mga guro ay mas makatutulong sa kanila na makapag-focus sa pagtuturo at pagsisilbi sa mga mag-aaral na Pilipino.

“The proposed ₱10,000 salary increase is a meaningful step toward addressing the long-standing concerns of public school teachers and affirming that their labor, expertise, sacrifices, and dedication deserve concrete and commensurate government support,” ayon din kina Arzaga at Ortega.

Ipapadala ang naturang suporta sa Senate of the Philippines; House of Representatives; Department of Education; Department of Budget and Management; Civil Service Commission; at iba pang ahensiya ng gobyerno na may kinalaman sa panukalang batas para sa kanilang impormasyon, konsiderasyon, at angkop na aksyon.
