“It is significant to note that the “Tagbanua Tribe” is headed by a “Masikampo” being their highest political leader that resembles their “King” who works for the preservation of their cultural integrity and secures the interest and well-being of their tribe wherein since time immemorial “Makisampos” are found in the municipality of Aborlan,” ayon kay Rafael Ortega Jr. na may akda ng isang resolusyon na naglalaman ng kahilingan na sumasalamin sa Provincial Resolution No. 20997, series of 2025.

“Provincial Resolution No. 20997, Series of 2025, already expressed the intent of the Provincial Government of Palawan to support the recognition of Masicampo Stephen Kim Cursod, son of the 17th Masicampo Orlando Cursod, as the rightful heir and successor to the tradition and culture of Salin-Lahi of the Tagbanua Tribe in Aborlan,” ani ni Ortega.
