Palawan ICT roadmap, kauna-unahan sa bansa

Inilunsad sa lungsod ng Puerto Princesa ang Palawan ICT Development Plan 2026-2031, ang kauna-unahang ICT Roadmap sa bansa.
Ito ay binuo ng Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) at ng Palawan Provincial Government katuwang ang Department of Science and Technology (DOST), Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), Department of Education (DepEd), Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Commission on Higher Education (CHED), Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA), Telcos at iba pang partner agencies.
Sa panayam kay Gobernadora Amy Alvarez, malaki ang papel nito sa pagsusulong ng digitalisasyon sa Palawan.
Ito ay isang pangmatagalang plano para palakasin ang teknolohiya sa probinsya, pagandahin ang serbisyo ng lokal na pamahalaan at magbukas ng mas maraming oportunidad hindi lang sa negosyo gayundin sa komunidad.
“It is important! Because as a whole connected with all the other local government unit (lgu) and the whole province is parang our commitment really bringing digitalization to our province na we can connect to each other already through all our municipalities. This is our commitment and this is our plan, we just followed the plan ’til 2031,” saad ng Gobernadora.
Aniya, bukas ang Provincial Government sa iba pang mga lokal na pamahalaan na nais mag-benchmark sa Palawan ICT Roadmap.
“Kaya naman po kasi tapos na so no problem po ‘yan. This plan is very essential to everyone because all the national agencies can also help us with this plan as long as we have that roadmap and that plan and we have a vision and of course to full digitalization here in our province every other agency we can always invite to help us on our journey po,” dagdag pa ni Alvarez.
