Tinatrabaho ang mga Int’l Airport sa Palawan ni Alvarez

Dahan-dahang tinatrabaho ni Gobernadora Amy R. Alvarez ang mga paliparan sa Palawan para makatulong mapababa ang presyo ng pamasahe papunta sa Palawan at mapababa ang presyo ng mga bilihin, Agosto 19.

“So, im slowly trying to work on our international airports other than Puerto princesa hopefully in the next few years,” sabi niya.

Isa sa kanyang ipinagmamalaki ay ang kasalukuyang tinatapos na Coron Runway at Terminal sa Francisco B. Reyes Airport [Busuanga Airport] na matatapos na sa 2027, na kinumpirma matapos ang kanyang pakikipag-usap sa Department of Transportation (DOTr).

“Nag-usap na kami sa DOTR, hopefully matatapos iyong bagong runway sa Coron by the end of next year and bagong terminal po. I think that will be the first international airport na straight to coron. Once that runway will be done, maka-accept na po tayo ng airbus. Sa ngayon even El Nido lang ngayon has only 9 flights, Coron wala pa; hanggang 5 o’clock lang po ang mga flghts,” sabi ni Alvarez.

“Sana, we’re trying to maximize iyong airport natin para ma-welcome natin iyong flights almost 24 hours sana. Diba? Because that’s the only way na magbaba ang mga presyo po natin o standard of living po natin dito; kasi everyone says sobrang mahal ng Palawan. Pagpunta nga dito already [₱] 30,000, tapos iyong hotel mahal pa. What if we can have more tourist arrivals? We have the volume, we can be able to lower that price,” sabi rin niya.

Dadag pa niya: “Coron will probably be the one na matatapos by next year sa second semester God willing po”.
